With over 800 acres of water it is a terrific place to rent canoes, paddle boards and kayaks for starters. You can scuba dive and even trout fish. You can spend a day at the new huge Southlands Lifestyle Center or a day bouncing up the 27 mile long Colfax Avenue with its hundreds of shops.

You will find some awesome museums to visit such as the History Museum and the 25 historical sites that are intriguing. There is an Air Force base and an Air and Space Museum as well.

With a population of over 350,000 there are numerous dining opportunities for all palates. More than 250 restaurants give you many ethnic opportunities. There are some terrific and fun breweries that have joined the landscape as well as night clubs to kick up your heels and do some dancing, like the Stampede Club.

If you end up with a less than ideal day you can find many movie theaters to kick back and watch the big screen. There are indoor amusement centers with go carts and laser tag. Want to be good to yourself? You will find numerous health clubs that feature all types of exercise options. How about a soothing massage after you’re finished? Again, many massage therapists are available in a community of this size.
