Meet Dr. Christopher Baer/Meet the Team/What Sets Us Apart?/Our Blog
Christopher Baer, DMD
Ever since I was a child, I loved working with my hands, taking things apart, and putting them back together again. As a dentist, I am able to put this to good use all while helping people improve the quality of their lives. My work is never really work because I truly love what I do. Every day is exciting and brings new challenges and rewards. I get to meet so many new and exciting, interesting people and help them achieve their dental goals.
Like many of my patients, I never liked going to the dentist when I was growing up. I take every day as a new opportunity to help reshape people’s views about dentistry. Regardless of whether they are children or adults, I believe all patients deserve a positive dental experience.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology – University of Arizona, 2000
- Doctorate of Dental Medicine – Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry, 2004
- Advanced Education in General Dentistry - Audie L. Murphy V.A. Hospital, 2005
I have a strong commitment to education. I completed an extra year of training beyond dental school at the Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital in San Antonio, TX. That year gave me advanced training in aesthetic procedures, dental implants, gum surgeries, root canals, treatment of complex dental cases, and management of medically compromised patients. I was also able to train with some of the most talented dentists in the U.S. I have continued this commitment to education and continually improve myself with hundreds of hours of continuing education and participation in courses at the Kois Center in Seattle. I choose to participate in continuing education in order to provide the best possible care to all of my patients.
In addition to continuing my own education, I am involved with educational aspects of dentistry, lecturing to fellow dentists and working with dental manufacturers on the development of dental products. My photography has also been used by dental manufacturers to show dentists how to perform treatment or use their products correctly.

In the Office
While most people are usually not terribly excited to come to the dentist's office, we continually hear the opposite about our office. Give us a chance and you will see how we are changing the way people feel about dentistry! My team is committed to excellence in everything we do, from the first phone call we get from you to the moment you leave your appointment. Everyone has a commitment to making your dental experience better and as enjoyable as we can make it. Every one of my team members has been carefully selected for their position and has the same commitment to education and improving the way you receive dental care.

Family Life
I am originally from Northern California, and currently reside in Parker, CO. My wife, Laura, and I have two children, Andy and Brad, a pug named Milo, and a chocolate lab named Lucy. Aside from dentistry, my hobbies include running, swimming, fly fishing, hunting, and spending time with my family. I love cooking, and as a result of my time in Texas I have honed my barbecue skills. You will often find the smoker fired up and ready on the weekends around our house, even in the winter!
