Bleaching
Tooth whitening or bleaching, when bleach is utilized, is a procedure that works to either restore the natural shade of your teeth or go beyond to an even whiter shade. Typically, tooth bleaching compounds use carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide.
The most traditional service is an at-home, dentist-supervised procedure. To obtain this service, your dentist will make molds of your teeth and create a comfortable mouth tray that is customized to you. This type of mouth tray sits only against the teeth and allows the bleach to contact your enamel and not your gum tissue.
The mouth tray is built to hold a mild mixture that includes the selected peroxide agent. Peroxide bleaching agents produce a chemical reaction when exposed to plain water and release the non-toxic bleaching element hydrogen peroxide.

Thereafter, the whitening agent is applied to the teeth. At-Home Whitening
