Billing & Financial Information

At Baer Dental, we believe in clear, upfront communication when it comes to your dental care costs. Our team is here to help you navigate insurance, payments, and treatment estimates with confidence. Below you’ll find answers to some of the most common billing and financial questions.

Insurance

Which dental insurance plans do you accept?

We are currently in-network providers for most plans with MetLife, Cigna, Delta Dental, Aetna, and United Concordia.

Do you file claims directly with insurance companies?

Yes. We file claims electronically with dental insurance providers to streamline the process for you.

How can I confirm my specific coverage and benefits?

The best way to confirm your coverage is to contact your dental insurance provider directly. We’re also happy to help interpret your benefits once you have that information.

Payment Options

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept credit cards, debit cards, cash, CareCredit, and Cherry financing.

Do you offer payment plans or financing?

Yes, we partner with CareCredit and Cherry to offer flexible financing options to help make your treatment more affordable.

Do you accept HSA or FSA cards?

Absolutely.

Treatment Costs & Estimates

Do you provide written estimates before procedures?

Yes. You’ll receive a written estimate before any treatment begins. Please note this is an estimate, not a guarantee of insurance payment.

How are treatment costs determined?

Our system uses your insurance information to estimate coverage and calculates your expected out-of-pocket costs accordingly.

What if there are unexpected costs during a procedure?

We do our best to anticipate any additional expenses beforehand. However, dentistry sometimes involves surprises—especially when replacing or repairing old dental work. If anything unexpected comes up, we’ll discuss it with you immediately and work together to find a financially manageable solution.

Billing & Statements

When are billing statements sent?

Payment is due at the time of service. If there's a balance remaining after insurance pays, you'll receive a billing statement. You’ll have 30 days to pay before interest begins to accrue.

Are statements available electronically?

To protect your privacy, we do not send automated electronic statements. However, you can request a digital copy from our front desk team.

What is your policy on late payments?

Late balances will begin to accrue interest after 30 days.

Who should I contact with billing questions?

Start by reaching out to our front desk team. If your question is related to insurance coverage or denials, you may need to speak directly with your insurance provider.

Refunds & Account Credits

What is your refund policy?

Refunds are rare but handled on a case-by-case basis with your satisfaction in mind.

How are credits handled?

Credits are processed monthly and refunded to the original form of payment.

If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to call or stop by—we’re here to help make your experience smooth, transparent, and stress-free.
